Kent County, Delaware

The League of Women Voters of Kent County, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

In its advocacy role, the League takes positions on issues at the local, state, and national levels. Only after the LWV has studied an issue and has come to a consensus on a position, after debate and voting at convention, can the League take action on that issue.
